Our Food Pantry is run by generous volunteers who spend their time sorting, organizing, and assisting clients as they shop for their groceries.
About Dorcas Food Pantry
The Dorcas Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance for residents of Cary and Morrisville. Approved shoppers select items from our pantry which is set up like a grocery store. Shoppers choose canned goods, frozen and fresh food which is generously provided thanks to donations from the local community.

- Photo ID
- Proof of Residence in Cary or Morrisville (utility bill with your name, lease, etc.)
Would your group or organization like to be a part of our Adopt-A-Shelf program? You can help keep our shelves stocked by sponsoring a shelf in whole or in part.
Interested in coordinating a food drive but don’t know where to start? Please contact our Pantry Manager or call 919-469-9861, ext 202 for further information.

- Fruit Cocktail
- Pinto Beans
- Juice or Drink Mix
- Canned Meals (Ravioli, Spaghettios, etc)
- Canned Tomatoes
- Pasta Sauce
- Flour (2lb. bag)
- Sugar (2 lb. bag)
Drop Off Food
Bring your contribution to the drop-off area at the back of the Dorcas Thrift Shop building.
