UNC SCHOOL OF NURSING JOINS WALGREENS PHARMACY, DORCAS MINISTRIES TO ADMINISTER FREE FLU SHOTS
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing Mobile Clinic will host Walgreens Pharmacy at Tryon Woods in Cary to provide free flu shots to clients of Dorcas Ministries
On Tuesday, September 20th, uninsured and underinsured clients of Dorcas Ministries in Cary can receive free flu shots between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Dorcas Ministries, located at 187 High House Road in Cary. The shots, provided by Walgreens Pharmacy will be administered by Walgreens pharmacists with assistance from UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing Mobile Clinic volunteers.
Dorcas Ministries provides crisis relief to Cary and Morrisville residents who seek stability and self-sufficiency through food and financial assistance, scholarships, training programs, referrals and an affordable thrift shop.
The UNC School of Nursing Mobile Clinic is staffed by UNC nursing faculty and students and provides free nursing care at Dorcas Ministries on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
